Teachers workshop conducted in Guru Teg Bahadur Public School on 1.04.23 by Bhai Kaan Singh nabha institute of Human resource and development in collaboration with Guru Gobind Singh g Study Circle, Chandigarh zone.

Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Sector -15 C, Chandigarh celebrated 37th Founder’s Day and Baisakhi with zest and elation . The GTBPS family and students of classes 6 to10 attended Shri Sukhmani Sahib Path at Gurudwara Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, Sector -15 C, Chandigarh to celebrate the 37th Founder’s Day; since its inception on 13 April 1986. The path was attended by the students of classes 6-10 to seek the blessings of Almighty Waheguru. A heart- felt prayer to the Almighty Waheguru was carried out by the students of class 1 to 5. The kindergarten wing of the school also celebrated the festival of harvest with great enthusiasm. Competition was organised and students of danced to the tunes of bhangra to represent the culture of Punjab. Dhol beats and Punjabi music added to the excitement. Kindergarten children were dressed in colourful Punjabi traditional attires. Sweets were distributed among staff members and students. The Chairman Sir Gurpartap Singh Riar, the managing members and Principal, Ms. Aarti Chaudhary congratulated all the staff members, parents and students on this auspicious day.

Skill development of each child through Saturday clubs as per the interest of the child-Math, science, IT, Eco club, Art and craft, music, dance, public speaking. An intiative by GTBPS for holistic development of the children.

Water resource day celebrations as blue day in Kindergarten to understand the importance of water.

Parents are the biggest blessing and ever shining ray of hope that brighten a child’s life. Though, both father and mother are two strong pillars of a child’s life, a mother’s role is often left unappreciated. In order to appreciate the myriad efforts done by a mother for her child, the school celebrated Mother’s Day on 13.05.2023(Saturday) in the presence of Chairman sir and Guest of honour Sd.Jaswinder kaur Riar G. Prizes were distributed. Great performances by mother. Salute to motherhood…

We are glad to share that the school has achieved 100%result in class X board exams 2022-23. Students who scored more than 80% are Harman singh,Tanisha and Simarpreet Kaur. Congratulations to team GTBPS and toppers.

Students of our school, Mannat and Sejal were selected for All India Asteroid search campaign conducted at Doon International School Mohali. Experienced launching through missile model. Telescopic view of stars. Great experience.

Class party and healthy party lunch competition was organised in Kindergarten wing on 19th May, last working day before summer break. Dance, music, fun and frolic were there.  Our little munchkins enjoyed this event with great zeal.

June 2023.

Life Skills are the abilities that help in promotion of mental and social wellbeing, and competence in young children to face the realities of life. The ultimate aim of education is the overall development of personality which cannot be achieved without exposing students to various Life Skills.

A CBSE Capacity Building Programme on ‘Life Skills’ conducted by Centre of Excellence, Chandigarh was organised at Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Sector 15 C , Chandigarh on 2 June 2023 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM in the school hall. More than 60 participants from Chandigarh and different regions of Punjab affiliated CBSE schools took part in the workshop. The resource persons for the workshop were Ms. Anjli Sharma, Principal, St. Soldier International Convent School, Mohali and Ms. Kulwant Kaur Rehal, Former Principal, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Beghpur Kamlooh, Mukerian. The Resource Persons, discussed on objectives and provided an insight to embed life skills in our regular curriculum on a daily basis. They emphasised on students’ self-directed learning. Numerous fun activities were also included along with the presentation. It was an enlightening session for the teachers on the infusion of life skills in the teaching-learning process and the significance of inculcating these skills in our everyday life.

July 2023

Healthy party tiffin competition was held in our school on 17th July. It was a delightful experience to see students beaming with happiness to present their healthy tiffin preparation. Each child presented their tiffin exceptionally well and were complimented/rated by the teachers for the nutritious quality of the food in their tiffin. All the lunch boxes looked colourful and tempting.

August 2023

Poster making competition was held at GMSSS sector 8 Chandigarh under HUBS of learning by CBSE. Dheeraj class 8 and Vanshika class 9 participated with great enthusiasm. Always keep shining.

Congratulations to the winners of competition exam conducted by Physics Wallah in the school campus. Trophies and certificates were distributed to students. Keep it up students.

September 2023

On 2nd September, Langar, dental and eye check-up camp by Dashmesh eye and multispecialty centre Mullanpur Garibdas was organised in the school campus in the memory of our Respected founder chairman sir Late Jathedar Ranjeet Singh Riar g.

Teachers day celebrations at hotel Eminence Mohali. Team work, unity with fun and enjoyment.

A visit to bird park was organised for Kindergarten wing on 25th September. Learning with fun and frolic.

On 25th September, Visit to Airforce Museum sector 18 for classes 1, 2 and 3 in collaboration with Department of Science and technology Chandigarh.

On 28th September, Gtbpians got 1st position in quiz based on climate changes and global warming conducted by CSIR -IMTECH sector 39 on the occasion of Foundation day Inauguration of 3D projection. On 31st October, on the occasion of Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, students of GTBPS Participated in various activities for promoting National unity and Integration. Students took pledge also for the integrity of our nation.

November 2023

Clay Diya making competition  in kindergarten Green day celebrations#Promoting green and anti crackers Diwali. Clay modelling is an outstanding sensory activity to develop a child’s motor skills and a sense of control. It is a great way to boost imagination and nurture creativity to think out of the box.

On 14th November, Children day celebrations at Gtbps campus. Distribution of sweets to all the students. Lots of blessings to our champs.

Student’s rally on ‘Say no to Crackers’. Rally conducted by GTBPians on 22 November to spread awareness on Pollution free Diwali. Students were very enthusiastic and energetic during the rally. Congratulations to our shining stars

Our students Khusmeet Kaur class VI and M.Anas Ahmed class IX participated in declamation competition at GMH Maulijagran under CBSE hubs of learning on 14th December. M.Anas Ahmed bagged 2nd position while Khusmeet Kaur got consolation prize. Well done, keep it up.

Our students participated in Nagar kirtan with great valour and enthusiasm on 15th December.

Our school got award under top 20 schools of Chandigarh by Education world India school Rankings 2023-24.Congratulations to GTBPS family and a lot of thanks and gratitude to the parents who are associated with us.

GTBPS celebrated its Annual Day function 2023-24 at Tagore Theatre in sector 18 on the theme “Incredible Bharat”. All the students and their parents were invited to this function. The program started at 10 a.m. with the Principal delivering her commencement speech and the lighting of the diyas by the special guests. The parents kept cheering for their children who were performing on the stage. After three hours of grand performances by the students, the program ended with the Principal proposing the vote of thanks and extending her warm regards to everyone present at the Annual Day function.

Interschool essay writing, speech and quiz competition held at GTBPS campus to commemorate and honour martyrdom of sahibzadas. Great efforts done by students. 15 schools participated in the competition and around overall 150 students participated from various schools. Cash prizes, trophies and certificates were given to students and teachers.

Sensitisation programme on financial literacy and use digital tools held for teachers by CBSE….

Communication session was held on last working day before winter break. Our little munchkins participated enthusiastically.

Congratulations to GTBPS family for certification by Indian School Awards amongst top 50 schools. Paramjit Singh receiving award on behalf of school at award function organised at Chandigarh University. Heartiest congratulations to the whole team, management of Gtbps and our parents.

January 2024

The festival of Lohri holds great significance as it marks the harvest of the rabi crops and the end of winter days. The people worship the sun and the fire and thank them for the good harvest. Lohri celebrations at school campus with great valour and enthusiasm…..

On Republic Day, our school celebrated the 71st Republic Day with grandeur and excitement. Everyone remember the rich heritage of our country and feel proud to be part of a shining India. As we celebrate our independence, let’s free our minds from negative thoughts. With freedom in our minds, faith in our words, pride in our souls, we salute the nation. The students put up a spectacular show with patriotic songs and dances.

February 2024

Congratulations to GTBPS family for getting IInd positions “Best out of Waste Material” competition. It was held in G.M.Sr.Sec. School, Sector -16, Chandigarh on 6th Feb 2024. Our students Ramneet Kaur class 7th and Sejal class 8th participated in this competition under the guidance of Ms. Anju Singh. Well done keep it up!

Glimpses of Eco and Education Fest 2024 Beautiful models were represented by students of classes I to IX fun games were arranged for student as well as for parents also. The student enjoyed the various events and stalls and the fest was a great way for them to show their talents. School bustled with enthusiasts.

On 23rd February, Students of class IV and V visited Rose festival in sector-16 Rose Garden. Children saw different kinds of flowers blooming there. They all enjoyed the outing. It was a memorable trip for them. The visit was done in collaboration with the environment department, Chandigarh and Eco Club.
